How to start your MeltTech kiln controller
- Plug in the 4‑pin plug and transformer — the system starts automatically.
- Open the web browser — launch the interface.
- Wait for the page to load — you may need to refresh.
- Check graph + firing profiles are visible — that confirms it’s loaded.
4‑pin version quick guide
- Plug in thermocouple lead and thermocouple.
- Plug the MeltTech Hub controller into the kiln 4‑pin socket outlet.
- Place the thermocouple into the chamber.
- Set your kiln/device infinite switch to HIGH position.
- Plug in the 12V MeltTech power transformer.
- Run the software → open a web browser → refresh until graph + profiles appear.
Operator must be in attendance at all times as per kiln manual. We do not warrant against over‑fires.
Phone setup (remote access)
- Use your remote access method (e.g., Raspberry Pi Connect) and sign in.
- Pair your MeltTech device.
- Control your kiln from anywhere via your browser.
